Week ending August 2, 2009

7/27 - 7 miles @ ~7:30 pace

7/28 - 8 miles @ ~7:30 pace

7/29 - 8 miles (ladder workout - 400, 800, 1200, 1600, 1200, 800, 400 with the goal being to hit 5:00 pace for all reps. Cooked myself on the mile, pushing the last lap a bit too hard trying to keep it at 5 minutes. Never really recovered and the next couple of reps suffered. Times were 74, 2:31, 3:45, 5:01, 3:54, 2:35, 73 with recovery of 1:30, 3:00, 3:00, then 4:00 before the last 3)

7/30 - 8 miles @ ~7:20 pace

7/31 - 8 miles @ ~7:30 pace

8/1 - 10 miles @ 7:30 pace, with one mile at 5K pace (5:04)

8/2 - 13 miles @ 7:15 pace

62 miles for the week with one really hard workout.
